Iraq film by Broomfield
THE massacre of 24 people in the Iraq city of Haditha is the subject of a harrowing film by director Nick Broomfield – and the Curzon Soho in Shaftesbury Avenue is screening a preview of the film this Sunday.
Broomfield, the man behind Ghosts, will be joined after the screening by Iraqi writer and anti-war activist Sami Ramadani for a question-and-answer session.
The film details the events of November 19 2005 when the atrocity took place and was shot in a documentary style in Jordan.
