The Review - THEATRE by RICHARD OSLEY
Published: 27 March 2008

In the wings

THOUGH time seem so adverse and means unfit, everything is bound to resolve itself at the Hen and Chickens in April. Shakespeare’s fairy-tale comedy All’s Well That Ends Well, directed by Olivia Rowe promises to amuse and delight at the Islington Theatre from April 8-12.

TENNESSEE Williams is on strong (and familiar) ground with his faded Southern belle heroine in The Glass Menagerie. The Tower Theatre Company will be on equally strong ground, returning to their former home of The Bridewell Theatre, when they perform it from Tuesday April 1 to Saturday 5. Thursday’s show will be followed by a Q&A with the cast and director. Pictured: Stuart Denman as Tom.

THE New Journal theatre competition judge has found the following guilty of winning the Legal Fictions tickets prize: Joyce Rackham, Pat Webb, Gordon McIntosh, A Thorogood, and M Storer. Each wins a pair of top-price tickets to see the John Mortimer double bill at the Savoy Theatre.
