Vic Ash
Jazz legend at the Lund
PREVIEW:VIC ASH JAZZ IN THE LUND University College School
JAZZ in the Lund is to host a true legend of saxophone, Vic Ash.
The concert is being dedicated to the memory of Allan Ganley, one of the greatest British jazz drummers, who died suddenly a few weeks ago and was scheduled to perform with his dear friend Vic Ash at this gig.

Ash’s band for the Lund gig, which takes place on May 8, features former drummer for jazz legend Oscar Peterson, Martin Drew, Ronnie Scott’s favourite pianist John Critchinson, 2006 BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year Simon Spillett (sax) and bassist Simon Thorpe. • To buy/reserve tickets visit www.ticketweb.co.uk (search Jazz in the Lund) or call 07796 334566.
