Final bite at Astoria
REVIEW: FEEDER
Astoria
FEEDER said they wanted to play the Astoria for one last time and frontman Grant Nicholas ranted about the venue’s “absolutely criminal” closure.
“We’ve got enough shops as it is.” Four smart-collared City types agreed, and spent most of the gig sizing up the rental potential of this former pickle factory should it remain a live venue.
After power-chording through We Are The People, Feeder soon had their loyal fans air-punching to Insomnia and We Can’t Rewind.
They left the Astoria for the final time after an encore which included an acoustic rendition of Silent Cry. RUSSELL HANDY
