PEARL JAM: The Fixer

THIS page is missing a bit of grunge. Sadly, Pearl Jam’s The Fixer (out September 7) is also almost missing that quality – definitely radio friendly but can only be described as grunge-lite. Expect to see it as the theme tune to yet another US teen drama soon. Vedder, bring back that tortured soul – or did you lose your power when you cut your hair?
