Killer found dead in cell
A CONVICTED killer suspected of murder in London while on the run from police has been found dead in his prison cell.
Roderick George McDonald, a 51-year-old Scot, was arrested last month in connection with the horrific stabbing of a Brazilian.
The victim Acioli Pariz-Junior, 29, a cleaner, was knifed to death at the Westminster House Hotel, Ebury Street, Belgravia.
He was discovered on Valentine’s Day with what detectives say were shocking injuries.
Former soldier McDonald was sentenced to life in 1993 for strangling his wife in Edinburgh because she refused to join in a three in the bed sex session with his gay lover.
In 2005 Mcdonald escaped and made his way South.
He was being held in Brixton Prison to await an Old Bailey court appearance on May 31 for the murder of the cleaner when he was found hanged in his cell.
