Mayorship is not about party
• IT was reported last week in some newspapers that prospective London Mayoral candidate John Bird was desiring to run as the Conservative candidate for Mayor of London.
This is not the case. While John is flattered to be considered by David Cameron and Co, he has not made up his mind as to which banner he will be running under… if any!
His main focus in the campaign will be to get Londoners re-engaged in the political and decision-making process.
