West End Extra - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 27 April 2007
Fashion victim?
• PRIMARK has just unveiled its new Oxford Street branch. Will it will do better than Allders or C&A?
In the past, Allders and C&A became popular stores, with C&A staying strong for 75 brilliant years. But both failed to compete with new, innovative stores like Dorothy Perkins, Next and H&M that soared effortlessly in profits.
With the price of studying at university rising and everything becoming more expensive, we may all appreciate finding a store like Primark that offer such affordable clothes, and usually find ourselves pleased with finding a bargain when we get a hold of the latest fashion item.
I wish the company the best of luck. S SIDDIQUI
