Peabody gets personal
• AS a tenant of the Peabody Trust I have received a questionnaire, the contents of which require me to reveal personal aspects of my private life. Peabody’s view is that this information will enable them to provide a better service.
Were I to reply to this and comply with the request, which I shall not, my details would be sent to some address in High Wycombe, no doubt some contractor of which I and other tenants know nothing.
Peabody has provided us with no details whatsoever of this or any other ‘contractor’ to whom they have so blindly given permission to handle this sensitive data on their tenants. Is it any wonder that we have now an identity fraud epidemic when privacy is no longer respected? I WALKER
