Restaurant fire rescue
FOUR fire engines and 20 firefighters were called to a blaze at a restaurant in Fitzrovia on Wednesday night.
The fire in the Lal Qila Indian restaurant in Tottenham Court Road severely damaged the basement and part of the ground floor was also damaged by the blaze.
Two people from the second floor flat were rescued by fire crews wearing breathing apparatus.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
