Play day in the park
CLOWNS, stilt-walkers and sheep dogs launched London’s biggest Play Day event at Regent’s Park on Wednesday.
More than 1,500 children revelled in a mixed bag of fun and games organised by the city council to celebrate National Play Day.
Children came together to enjoy exciting activities that were all free. They were able to tackle the climbing wall, take a spin on the tea cups and burned off all of their energy on the trampolines and medieval-themed inflatable. There was also a Teddy Bears Picnic, puppet show and sheep dog display.
This year the council has made providing fun for children with disabilities a priority and the sensory tent and other special activities ensured all children took part. |
