A message of hope
OVER 100 people gathered on Monday in Bloomsbury Square to mark Hiroshima Day. Guests included peace campaigner Bruce Kent and veteran West End Extra columnist, Rose Hacker, pictured with 12-year-old Sonia founder of Children Against the War. Ms Hacker said she was sometimes ashamed to be in a world that still made nuclear weapons, but still had hope.“If I have not lost hope in a 100 years, then you young people can still have hope,” she said. |
