Rival piazza
• TRAFALGAR Square as an unrivalled venue for public events? I beg to differ. Compared to a very beautiful public square I chanced to visit last July for a day-long, free music event and revisited this week on a warm evening and drank from its fountains, Trafalgar Square compares like a mis-shapen bucket. I prefer Rome’s Piazza del Popolo – by far a finer square.
