Gambling set for extension
A LUXURY gambling venue in Mayfair is branching out onto three floors. The gentlemen’s club Crockfords, in Curzon Street, has applied to transform the third and fourth floors to host high-roller poker, roulette and blackjack games.
William Crockford, known to his friends as Crockey, was the son of a humble fishmonger.
He was the founding father of the private members’ gaming club in Mayfair. |
