Give us a say on EU
• IT is commonly believed – and with good reason, it seems – that the EU ‘treaty’ is little more than a revamped rejected constitution. And when a political entity refuses people a voice, yet talks of having its own, we should sit up and worry. When our Prime Minister reneges on a promise to his own people within weeks of gaining power and in close proximity to a meeting with the German leader, we should worry even more. Perhaps Mr Brown believes that ‘many a mickle makes a Merkel’.
The rallying cry for all opponents of this closed shop should be ‘No voice = no vote!’
Let’s see how they enjoy the prospect of opposition for their pains in preventing us from having our say. MARK NEWBERY
