West End Extra - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 19 October 2007
Access to training is vital for our future
• I AM delighted that the City of Westminster College has been given the go-ahead to re-develop its Paddington Green site as part of a four-year programme to upgrade its facilities. Access to education and training is so important for the development of both individuals and the community as a whole. This is great news.
Having taught in adult and further education, I have personal experience of the value of lifelong learning.
We need to enable each individual to fulfill their potential.
Providing accessible and relevant opportunities to train and gain knowledge is vital to the future of society and our local community.
Congratulations and every success to all those involved. MARTIN THOMPSON
