Celebrating the NHS
A RALLY to celebrate 60 years of the National Health Service is to be held in Trafalgar Square on Saturday.
A unique alliance of 14 health unions and organisations will support the protest.
The explorer Sir Ranulph Feinnes, who is supporting the day, said: “I love the NHS because they saved me from certain death following a massive heart attack.”
The march leaves Temple Palace at 11am and proceeds to Trafalgar Square for 12.30pm. The rally begins at 1.30pm. |
