Future for Pimlico is secular
• REGARDING your article about Pimlico School in last week’s Xtra Diary (Real faith in the system, or faith in real education), we have absolutely no connection with the Jubilee church in Surrey.
Under Future’s sponsorship, the school would be entirely non-denominational, completely comprehensive and there would be no religious influence on staffing or curriculum.
Academy programmes understandably create concern for parents, students, teachers and the wider community. Anybody who wants to write to us about any matter concerning the School should please feel free to do so.
Pimlico school has wonderful potential and Pimlico, where we have both lived, is a fine place and Future’s sole interest is in helping the school become an outstanding place of learning and development for its students. John Nash and
Caroline Nash
