At your service, to help a festive spend of £100m plus
AN exclusive butler service helping shoppers beat the Christmas rush launched this week.
The Regent Street butlers (pictured) are on call carry bags or call a cab. Wearing classic outfits, with pink and black ties, they aim to make shopping in the West End stress free.
More than £100 million was spent by shoppers in the West End on Saturday.
One million shoppers descended onto Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street when it was closed to traffic.
They spent an average of £100 each, retailers said. “We’re very pleased with the figures so far,” said Jace Tyrrell from the New West End Company, which represents retailers. |
