Gosh! Macca and Mika have dropped by to spread some Christmas cheer
CHRISTMAS came early for children from Great Ormond Street Hospital when a special group of celebrity friends came to their festive party on Monday.
Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, popstar Mika and television presenters Vernon Kay and Tess Daly, met more than 1,500 children and their families over three parties, gathered at Coram’s Field for the annual event.
All the children who attended have been treated by the hospital this year. They were whisked away to the wintry world of Santa’s Magical Workshop complete with elves, snow, giant toys and reindeer.
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity patrons Tess Daly and Vernon Kay said: “Great Ormond Street Hospital does such fantastic work in helping the children get better and get home to their families as quickly as possible.” |
