Birthday tributes to stabbed teenager
FRIENDS of Jevon Henry have paid tribute to the stabbed teenager in the week he would have celebrated his 19th birthday.
The former pupil of St George’s School was stabbed through the heart outside his home on the Lisson Green estate in January.
On a website set up in his memory, 66 of his friends have lit cyber “candles”.
A former girlfriend, Liyah, wrote: “It’s your birthday soon and I just want to say that every one misses you so much and their isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about what we had. I love you so much it hurts.”
Michelle Elvin wrote: “Happy 19th birthday Jevon, I love you.”
Donna, a friend, said: “You will never be forgotten. The boys would have had a good drink with you.” “Lil Mo”, a friend from Lisson Green, said: “I never thought that jevon would ever die young so like we need to stop all this gun and knife.”
Earlier this year a £20,000 reward was offered for information leading to the arrest of his killer or killers.
Six teenagers arrested in June were later released on bail.
