West End stars on the run!
STARS from the West End’s best-loved musicals swapped their dancing shoes for trainers on Wednesday in the warm-up for a charity run.
Connie Fisher from The Sound of Music, and Susan McFadden and Sean Mulligan from Grease, were joined by the stars of Chicago, Billy Elliot, Avenue Q, The Phantom of the Opera, MAMMA MIA! and We Will Rock You under the portico of the Actors’ Church in Covent Garden.
They were there to encourage the public to sign up and get sponsored for the Sport Relief Mile, sponsored by Sainsbury’s, set to take place across the country over three days from March 14.
Ms Fisher said: “Getting involved with Sport Relief is so easy – there’s no need to make a song and dance about it!”
