Act useless
• THE inept Dangerous Dogs Act is plainly worse than useless – but do we need it? Surely this problem is covered by dangerous animal legislation anyway. These dogs are bred and trained to kill people and are doing just that with alarming frequency.
Perhaps they could be removed under anti-social behaviour legislation or, proceeds of crime legislation. Given the number of people being attacked and in some cases killed, the authorities are displaying an astonishing lack of interest in this problem.
