West End Extra - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 25 April 2008
Roses gangs are a real thorn in our sides
• TOURISTS and visitors to Soho are being harassed every night by gangs parading the streets trying to sell wilting roses.
They will not take no for an answer and when people refuse they ask for money and cigarettes.
They snatch mobile phones, wallets or whatever they can find. What about the police and local authority? Can they enforce the law to protect people from these unsightly gangs?
We have enough problems trying to survive in business without this. Sam Shaker
