Chinatown law centre must not be allowed
to close down
• I AM shocked to learn that the Central London Law Centre is threatened with closure (Outrage at threat to Chinatown legal service, April 25). Our adversarial legal system is predicated on both sides receiving adequate representation, yet recent cuts in Legal Aid have made this practically impossible in certain cases.
It would be a disgrace for London Councils not to renew funding for this essential community service in the heart of the West End.
