When the stakes are sky high
• I NOTICED, not for the first time, this last Saturday the shocking sight of a noisy helicopter drifting around aimlessly over Westminster and Camden on a bright sunny day when tourists and residents alike took to our parks.
I can’t think of a more symbolic example of “fiddling while the planet burns” that a helicopter trailing an advertisement for online gambling. How can we Londoners tolerate such offensive, conspicuous pollution for such a sponsor flaunted above our great city? Cllr Paul Braithwaite
