PETROLHEADS enjoyed a display of classic cars in Bayswater at the weekend to celebrate the Connaught Village Festival.
Hosted by motor racing legend Sir Stirling Moss , more than 30 cars including a C-Type Jaguar and an Aston Martin Project 214 provided a visual feast for racing enthusiasts looking for some va va voom.
For those not old enough to get behind the wheel, there was a special appearance from children’s television favourite Roary the Racing Car, as well as a car themed art competition.
Connaught Village, located in the heart of the Hyde Park Estate, between Marble Arch, Lancaster Gate and Paddington, is an upmarket enclave of shopping streets and Georgian squares. |
