West End Extra - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published:13 June 2008
Moaning minnies!
• THE moaning-minnies of Soho really are a sad little bunch (‘It’s total anarchy on streets,’ June 6).
If Councillor Ian Wilder does not like the way we live our lives in Soho he should stay in Houston or enter a monastery.
At minimum he should stop telling the rest of us how we should live our lives.
If Ulrike Schmidt does not like Berwick Street (Can’t we give peace a chance? June 6) she should move to a desert; it’s nice and quiet there.
If your other letter-writers Peter Cave and Keith Nickol dislike being woken on a Sunday there should find an island somewhere in the middle of the Pacific.
To read week-in week-out the cries of these killjoys is becoming nauseating.
If they do not like the vibrancy and dynamism of Soho they should move. Malcolm Rasala
