West End Extra - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published:20 June 2008
Member of the moaning minnies’ club for all time?
• LET us welcome Malcolm Rasala to the club he deems “moaning minnies” (Letters, June 13). Clearly it has slipped his mind that last year he (rightly) moaned about the mistreatment of Soho Square by commercial organisations.
He had also moaned about the local pigeons, even predicting bird flu deaths.
And, of course, by moaning about “moaning minnies” he automatically makes himself an inescapable and ever-lasting member of the club. Quite cute really.

• I AM surprised that you did not add a footnote to a letter by Malcolm Rasala (Moaning minnies! June 13). He put me in that category and falsely accused me of complaining about noise in Soho, and “being woken on a Sunday”.
In fact I have never had a letter published by you complaining about noise on being woken up on a Sunday.
I suggest Malcolm Rasala reads your paper more carefully and is hopefully suitably embarrassed.
