Kitchen sculpture: Cheer for student chocolatiers
A FEAT of chocolate engineering that makes logs and roulades look like a game of Duplo.
These Westminster Kingsway College student chefs have been slaving away in the kitchen to create chocolate sculptures that wouldn’t look out of place next to a Gormley or Moore.
One of 30 skills challenges taking place around the country, professional chef diploma students worked on their creations under the direction of senior chef Javier Mercado, a specialist in patisserie, chocolate and confectionery. Westminster Kingsway College has around 14,000 students with centres across the borough and neighbouring Camden.
