Calendar girls: Soho pupils’ Advent art an inspiration
KIDS at Soho Parish School helped design a giant Advent calendar, raising more than £1,000 for trips to the countryside.
The calendar, which is more than two metres tall, has pictures drawn by pupils behind every window.
Soho businesses, including Bar Italia and the French House bar and restaurant, paid £50 to sponsor each of the 24 windows. The children were helped by artist and parent Robert Shepherd.
The calendar will be launched at the school’s Christmas Fair on Saturday. |
