It’s a wrap! Students do their bit to help Samaritans charity drive
PUPILS at the Grey Coat Hospital School in Victoria have been busy wrapping presents, but they won’t be giving them to each other.
Year 9 students at the all girls’ school have been stuffing old shoe boxes to the brim with toys, sweets, and books to bring some Christmas cheer to needy children around the world.
More than 100 boxes will be sent by the Samaritans to children in hospitals, orphanages, homeless shelters and refugee camps in time for the special day as part of their Operation Christmas Child Appeal. |
