Making a point: Ex-offenders in knife crime play
A CAST of ex-offenders have taken part in a play aimed at warning youngsters of the horrors of knife crime.
The group – many of whom have spent time in prison – from the Only Connect Creative Arts Company, performed Any Which Way to students at City of Westminster College last week.
A series of workshops were held following the performance, during which students got the opportunity to step into a number of roles.
Student Mark Beddaoui, 17, said: “It was good to see that people can get a second chance in life after going down the wrong road.
“You can see that the actors have really learned from their own experiences.” |
