Pam butters up the pets and vets with a tea party
IT was a dogs’ dinner with a difference at the Blue Cross Animal Centre.
Actress Pam Ferris of Harry Potter and Little Dorrit fame was boiling the kettle and buttering the scones as vets, pets and nurses threw a tea party to remember.
The centre in Victoria – part of the UK charity that helps hundreds of sick and homeless animals every year – is also asking pet owners to nominate the best spot to enjoy afternoon tea with their pooch.
Event organiser Tracey Chittock said: “Last year Blue Cross supporters raised an incredible £34,000 by hosting tea parties nationwide to help the animals in our care.
“This is the equivalent of funding a Blue Cross community nurse for a year.” |
