All Souls pupils show off their awards |
Great time at All Souls
PRIMARY school pupils have received watches and other prizes for good attendance.
Six “platinum” winners were given watches for their 100 per cent records and “gold” winners (98 per cent) received book vouchers at All Souls CofE Primary in Foley Street, Fitzrovia. Head Alix Ascough said: “It’s very encouraging when students come up to me saying ‘I’m going to get platinum next year. The progress our children have made is fantastic. One child’s attendance has improved by 20 per cent, and academically she has now more than exceeded the national average for her age.”
Attendance improved from 88 to 94 per cent in a year. |
