Real food market to trade until Christmas
A popular food market in Covent Garden piazza has been granted an extension to continue trading until Christmas.
The open-air Covent Garden Real Food Market has been a hit with tourists and residents, since it set up in 2007.
Now, for the first time, stall-holders will be able to trade beyond the September cut-off.
Bev Churchill from Covent Garden London, the group that runs the market, said: “The success of the food market has been phenomenal and it seems the logical step is to provide Londoners with a permanent seasonal market they can rely upon for their fresh produce.” |
