Simply the best: Honey’s the top dog
PETS won prizes in Regent’s Park.
Pampered poodles, didgeridoo-playing dalmatians and limbo-dancing labradors were out in force at the Boomerang Pet Personality Awards on Sunday. As well as dogs, there was duck herding, a petting zoo and a “sheeplechase”, with prizes for the greediest, funniest, cutest and oddest pet couple, among others.
Even the Queen (lookalike) and her corgis turned up.
• Pictured: Harry Webster and his dog Honey were overall competition winners – selected from 20,000 entries. Honey will now be animated for a new cartoon on the Boomerang channel in 2011. |
