West End Extra - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 23 October 2009
Care to go to meeting?
•THE Westminster Local Involvement Network (Link) has been operating for almost eight months now but has still not held an AGM.
I was elected to the steering group but resigned in June because I was not happy with the way it was being operated and the way I personally was treated.
Nevertheless, many of the people who elected me as their representative are still complaining to me about a lack of communication.
Most of the steering group was drawn from organisations whose activities could fall under the statutory scrutiny powers of the Link.
On November 29, at the Regent’s Hall, Oxford Street, there is a public event. May I please suggest that anyone with concerns or issues concerning elements of healthcare in Westminster take the opportunity to go along and get involved in shaping the future of healthcare.
Details from Voluntary Action Westminster who are organising the event. Gary Saxton
