Teaching experiment
GIRLS don’t like science?
It depends on the teaching!
Year 11 students at St Marylebone CE School in Marylebone High Street donned lab coats and goggles for some classroom experiments. They created fizzy rainbows with universal indicator, made pigments and tested copper reactions after teachers won funding from the ENTHUSE project, a £30million partnership between the National Science Learning Centre and industry which aims to renew science teachers’ passion for their subject and encourage more young people to study science. |
